If your pet has food allergies, then hypoallergenic dog food is a great choice. If that’s
the case, then it stands to reason that hypoallergenic dog treats aren’t a bad idea either! Try this quick and easy
dog biscuit recipe. Feel free to alter it in any way you see fit to make sure that you are not using ingredients that are
known to cause your pooch to start feeling all itchy and scratchy.
Ingredients:
1 c. oat flour (makes the biscuits wheat-free)
1/2 c. oats
1/2 c. water
1 egg
3 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. molasses
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and lightly
spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray.
Combine all of the ingredients in a large
mixing bowl and stir until a dough forms. At this point, you can either roll out the dough and cut it into fun, bite-sized
shapes or you drop it by teaspoonfuls onto the baking sheet.
Bake for about 15 minutes
to get a nice, crisp dog biscuit. If your pup prefers a “chewier” treat, then bake the homemade dog treats in
a 300 degree oven for only 10 minutes.
Let them cool before treating your dog to your
home-baked love!
